Cheverly Community Market Gears Up

We're gearing up for an exciting season -- the first market of the season will be Saturday, May 24th, 9:00am-12:30pm, at the Cheverly Community Center. That's nearly two months away, which seems like a long time. But there's a lot of planning going on in advance of the big day for all sorts of activities:

• Special events, including a very special "farm" meal
• Local chefs to visit the market (and maybe teach we mere mortals a thing or two!)
• Cheverly artisans -- and there are a lot of them -- who will show their wares
• Local musicians that will play during the market
• Educational activities for children and adults

We'll be blogging here about preparations for the market, local farmers and other vendors, the occaisional recipe...
