Join us for CPRC Storytime!

Cheverly Parents Resource Center brings one of our favorite Halloween stories to the Market this week: The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams, with wonderful illustrations by Megan Lloyd. The story follows a very brave old lady on her way home one spooky night -- she hears and sees all sorts of things but she's very brave!

Storytime takes place this Saturday at 10:00am on the steps of the Community Center. In the meantime, here's a fun craft to get those little clompers and stompers in the mood for this story!

At the Market This Week: CPRC Storytime

This week, Cheverly parent and CPRC member Barbara Michelman will read the charming I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato by Lauren Child. The story, part of the very popular Charlie & Lola series, follows Lola through her very long list of foods she will not eat, met with older brother Charlie's imaginative descriptions of each food...maybe even enticing enough to try that dreaded tomato!

Please join CPRC on the steps of the Community Center at 10am this Saturday for the story, plus a coloring activity. And if you ask really nicely, Barbara may even read in a British accent!
