If you've been a customer, a vendor, or a volunteer at Cheverly Community Market, you know our terrific house band, The Hot Noodles. They've been playing in the DC area for about five years, and we're very grateful to have them! This Saturday, the Noodles won't be with us -- they'll be preparing to play a special Grateful Dead tribute show that night (8:00-11:00pm) at New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt. We'll really miss the terrific music they share with us each Market, but we're willing to share the wealth (every so often!)
The band will be performing one of the shows that the Grateful Dead played at RFK Stadium way back in 1989 -- it's 20 years ago this week!
We hope that you'll come and show your support for a terrific, long-time Market favorite. It's sure to be a fun show, and a great way to end a Market day!
