Our Thousandth Post Launches the 2013 Cheverly Community Market Season!

Today we hit a major milestone: one thousand posts on this blog! We knew it was coming, but the fact that we're also launching the 2013 season makes it extra special. We're celebrating our past and really looking forward to our future. We'll hit more milestones this year: there will be 10,000 photos in our flickr group by mid-summer (maybe earlier!); we'll have more vendors and community groups at our first market of the season than ever before; we are starting our regular season earlier than ever before; and we've grown from a small boutique market to a mid-size market (no easy feat!) Thank you to everyone for your support and efforts in making Cheverly Community Market so special -- we couldn't do it without you.

Our 2013 season kicks off tomorrow and we have a fantastic lineup for you -- our biggest season opener yet! Get beautiful, fresh, local produce, meats, breads, jams, sauces, and herbs for perfect seasonal meals; enjoy a special breakfast outdoors with treats from our excellent bakers and strong coffee and traditional Jamaican drinks; listen to our wonderful house band; find perfect Mother's Day gifts; learn about the work our community groups do; enjoy a story with your kids on the steps and enjoy some incredible ice cream...We have a wonderful morning planned for you!
