Thank you!

Thanks to everyone who braved a wet Saturday morning at Cheverly Community Market. Special thanks this week to our wonderful volunteers -- you are amazing. We also want to thank our fantastic vendors for being flexible and so very graceful under changing conditions -- we're grateful to call you part of the Cheverly Community Market family. Interested in being a vendor this holiday season? The application deadline for our 2013 Thanksgiving and Holiday Markets is October 21. Applications and guidelines are available on our website.

This afternoon, we hope you make it over to Oktoberfest (Fannon Hall at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 3107 63rd Street).  Celebrate Cheverly's own version of the world's biggest festival with traditional Bavarian and folk music, as well as food (including homemade German pretzels, bratwursts, and kraut), and a terrific Biergarten featuring traditional German Oktoberfest and wheat beers (purchase a commemorative stein to celebrate the occasion and receive a free fill-up!) There'll be hot dogs and lots of family fun, so make sure to make your way to Fannon Hall from 11am to 5pm on October 12!

Thank you for a wonderful start to autumn!

Thank you to everyone -- vendors, community groups, volunteers, customers -- who joined us for what may have been one of the best Markets we've had since opening in 2008! It was the perfect way to welcome autumn, and we certainly fell in love with Cheverly all over again!
We'll be posting photos soon. We now have a three-week break until the next Market. We'll be back on October 12 with all sorts of wonderful vendors, groups, and special events...including the St. Ambrose Men's Club Oktoberfest, right after the Market! And don't forget -- our two annual special Markets are just around the corner. If you are interested in becoming a vendor for the Thanksgiving or Holiday Markets, download the guidelines and application on our website. We are a producer-only market, and we're looking forward to sharing your work with Cheverly! The application deadline is October 21, so get to work!
As always, thanks for sharing your Saturday morning with us at Cheverly Community Market!
