We're very happy to have Cheverly artist Kate Heneghan join us at Cheverly Community Market this holiday season. Kate tells us about her Timeless Pages line here:I make sculptures and handcrafts out of books and pages from books. Because I like the idea of people reconnecting to books as objects, I turn them into pieces of art. While my Etsy store sells more expensive book sculptures and altered books, I am bringing more inexpensive Christmas ornaments to the holiday market. All handmade and one-of-a-kind, they include decoupaged pine-cones, folded paper ornaments made from book pages and sheet music, small paper sculptures of figures, hot air balloons, flowers and birds, and very small hardback books with carvings in them. I even have a few glass bottles with the nativity story contained inside (a Christmas "message in a bottle"). All make unique gifts or additions to your tree.
