It's not too late to plant oaks on your property to help keep Cheverly green, and support the Maryland and Cheverly Year of the Oak!
- Mount Rainier Nature Center will present an educational program on oak trees with lots of activities for kids, including exhibits of local animals that benefit from healthy trees and green space. Bring the kids and join the fun!
- Bring your questions on tree care to the special "Ask the Arborist" session from 11:00 to 1:00, with arborist Doris Koehler of Branches Tree Experts.
- Where are Cheverly’s biggest trees? Come to the long-awaited Cheverly Great Tree contest awards ceremony to find out.
