What a great morning! The weather cooperated...an hour later and we would have been in a deluge of much-needed rain! We saw lots of new faces this week -- welcome! We saw people talking about food -- where it comes from, favorite preparations...lots of great conversations! We saw fruits and vegetables that looks either like there was fire inside (red plums like I've never seen) or part of a gorgeous painting. Amazing. And of course, adults and children alike enjoying ice cream (that lemon custard is a work of art!)Thanks to all of you -- vendors, customers, and most of all, our volunteers, for getting together for another great Saturday at Cheverly Community Market. Every other Saturday, we're reminded what makes Cheverly a truly special place. We're proud to be part of your community.
