This week at the Market: Benny's Fruit Stand/Rebert Farm

Benny's Fruit Stand/Rebert Farm is well into apple season. This week at Cheverly Community Market, they'll have a great array of apple varieties -- Red and Golden Delicious, Gala, Macintosh, Smokehouse, Honey Crisp, Autumn Crisp, Jonathan, and Empire -- truly an apple for every taste and purpose. The Reberts can help you select the perfect apples for you...all you have to do is ask!  They'll also have Bartlett and Bosc pears, prune plums, corn, tomatoes, onions, and potatoes. It's a great time to cook local seasonal produce (or enjoy it fresh from the truck!) so make sure to come early and stock up on Saturday!
