This week at the Market: Waltz Family Farm

A Cheverly Community Market favorite is Laurie Waltz of Waltz Family Farm. Laurie loves to share stories and recipes, and she develops personal relationships with her customers. Those relationships are at the heart of Cheverly Community Market: knowing where your food comes from and knowing who grows it is good for the community and for everyone involved.
Laurie updates us on what she'll have this Saturday morning at Cheverly Community Market:
Our freezers are full once more and we'll bring  a great selection this Saturday. Our pork supply is overflowing and we’ll have some cuts we haven’t had for the past market or two, like Loin Roasts, Bone-in Pork Chops and Pork Kabobs/Stew meat. If you want to start stocking up on beef or lamb, do so this weekend while we still have a nice selection! The beef we picked up recently is extra tender and lean, full of flavor -- it was aged four weeks. We are taking quite a few animals to the butcher at the end of October so we'll be fully stocked for the holiday markets. If you have any requests, now is the time to ask -- just stop by on Saturday or email me.
Visit Waltz Family Farms this Saturday at Cheverly Community Market for responsibly grown and butchered meats from a family you know. You'll be glad you did.
