Who's coming to Cheverly Community Market tomorrow? The big lineup (October 12 edition.)

The leaves are turning, there's a nip in the air...and, let's be honest, a lot of rain! No matter -- visit Cheverly Community Market tomorrow morning and enjoy a cup of coffee, a pastry, great local music, and time with your friends and neighbors, all while shopping for the best in locally food and craft! The Market may be inside the Community Center tomorrow -- we're still crossing our fingers for a break in the deluge. If you can lend a hand with setup or breakdown, please contact us...we could really use extra hands tomorrow!

Let's look at it as a preview of our special holiday markets (vendor applications are still available on our website) and Cheverly's very own version of a coffee house/market.

Don't forget -- after visiting the Market, make your way over to Oktoberfest! Because of the rain, the St. Ambrose Men's Club has moved this very special event over to Fannon Hall at St. Ambrose Church. Celebrate Cheverly's own version of the world's biggest festival with traditional Bavarian and folk music, as well as food (including homemade German pretzels, bratwursts, and kraut), and a terrific Biergarten featuring traditional German Oktoberfest and wheat beers (purchase a commemorative stein to celebrate the occasion and receive a free fill-up!) There'll be hot dogs and lots of family fun...make sure to make your way to Fannon Hall from 11am to 5pm tomorrow!

Visit the Market table for reusable shopping bags, just $2 each or three for $5 --a bargain! We also have gift certificates available in any denomination -- a very thoughtful gift for your Market friends.

Whatever the weather holds -- whether we're indoors or out -- we're looking forward to spending a great morning with you!
