Community at the Market: Friends of Lower Beaverdam Creek & the Cheverly Green Infrastructure Committee

New at the Friends of Lower Beaverdam Creek table this Saturday -- flying squirrels! Learn about flying squirrels and sign up for a squirrel nest box workshop.

The Cheverly Green Infrastructure Committee will have a sign-up for a future flying squirrel nesting box workshop. Nesting boxes will be built to help offset the limited nesting spaces in dead trees in Cheverly. The workshop will be limited to 12 participants (age 10 and older) and it will cost $15 per person. Participants will need to be able to glue wood together and to use a screwdriver. The workshop, led by Dave Kneipp, will be held in early August at a date to be set by those who sign up.

Make sure to stop by the Friends of Lower Beaverdam Creek/Cheverly Green Infrastructure table this Saturday and learn more about the world in your own back yard!
