We had a wonderful morning on Saturday -- amazing produce, a wonderful new vendor, the return of some vendors who have been away for a few weeks, and our favorite stalwart vendors and community groups, who join us every week. We also owe great thanks to our volunteers, without whom the Market simply could not happen. Photos will be out later this week, as well as more recipes and ideas for getting the most from your Market purchases.

We do have big news to share with you this week: Cheverly Community Market welcomes our newest Board member and Interim Operations Manager, Diane Beedle. Our current Operations Manager, Liz O'Leary, will soon be moving to South Carolina with her family, and Diane has graciously stepped up to the challenge of the day-to-day operations of this growing farmer's market. She will co-manage the Market with Communications Manager Kathryn Andrews. The Market Board anticipates a very smooth transition and looks forward to working with Diane in the coming year! Please help us give Diane a warm welcome, and make sure to thank Liz for her service to the community and to Cheverly Community Market. She will be missed, but we are in very good hands!
