This Week at the Market: Cherry Glen Goat Cheese and Palmyra Farm Cheese

Cherry Glen's version of a traditional French Crottin, is a small (3-4 oz.) round, which is mild and creamy when young. As it ages, full goat cheese characteristics come forth, tangy with a long, nutty finish. This cheese is great served warm on your favorite salad or is an excellent starter on your cheese plate. And at just $4.50, it's an amazing deal. Try it in this recipe for Green Bean and Grilled Peach Salad with Crottin.

Palmyra Farm Cheese is also here to make your grill shine -- this week they'll have lovely blocks of Mozzarella, just perfect for grilled pizza, salads, and sandwiches like this Grilled Mozzarella & Apple.
Make sure to stop by the Cherry Glan/Palmyra tent and stock up on these and many other delectable cheeses for your end-of-summer meals. And they're the perfect ingredient in many wonderful dishes -- stock up this Saturday at Cheverly Community Market!
