The Scarboroughs were busy over summer -- the winery is now part of Southern Maryland's very first wine trail (visit Patuxent Wine Trail for details), as well as winning international awards for their Malbec, Chardonnay, Chambourcin (my favorite!), Sangiovese, and Shiraz varieties. Stop by their tent and sample some really wonderful local wines. Whether you take home a bottle of Malbec, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Shiraz, Chambourcin, or any other variety, you'll be happy! This is also an ideal time to stock up for your holidaty and gift-giving needs, so plan a little and enjoy a lot!
