A Rainy Friday Merits Photos from a Beautiful Sunny Market Last Saturday

It's a gloomy day in Cheverly, so we thought we'd take this opportunity to look back at a gorgeous, sunny Market last weekend!

Special thanks to Market Manager Barbara Liston for great photos (see the whole set here). We are also very grateful to the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Dixieland Jazz Combo for two great Markets full of terrific dixieland jazz. These kids -- and they are kids -- are very able, very talented musicians. We'd welcome them back any time!

We're getting to the very end of late summer produce -- it's time for squash, pumpkins, potatoes, onions, and apples. We'll miss luscious tomatoes, peaches, plums and peppers, but those autumn stews are certainly delicious! Coupled with local wine, fresh bread and amazing local beef, sausages, seafood, cheese, and jams, you can't go wrong!

Our newest vendor, Studio 621, was a great hit and we'll welcome them back very soon. Our final three Markets of the year (can you believe it?) are coming up and all three will be great opportunities to buy locally produced gifts for everyone on your holiday gift-giving lists.

We're still accepting applications for vendors for our Harvest Market (November 19) and our Holiday Market (December 10). Get the application here. The application deadline is Saturday, October 15, so don't delay!
