Join us at KidMarket for the opening day of the 2012 Cheverly Community Market season! At 10am, kids can plant a Sunflower seed they can take home while Dave Kneipp of the Cheverly Garden Club explains to them what makes a seed grow and how to care for their new plants. Afterward, your little Budding Gardener can head over to the front of the Community Center for a kids’ yoga class led by Rebecca Gitter of Wildflower Yoga. Please make sure to bring a yoga mat or towel for your child’s use. Then at 11am, local Cheverly Dad Chris Patridge will lead a Sing-A-Long on the front steps of the Community Center. Chris will bring his guitar and lead the children in a chorus of well know children’s favorites.
