Community Groups at the Market: American Legion Post 108

American Legion Post 108 leads a Help The Homeless Walk on Saturday, June 30, starting at Legion Park at 11:00am. The Legion has silently given support to veterans in need and appreciates the extent of the need in our communities. They have shown great leadership in supporting a community-wide Help The Homeless walk.

Let's show Cheverly in a great light! The Fannie Mae Help The Homeless Program has marked our walk for special publicity and will be taking photos to place on the national Help The Homeless website to show how Cheverly cares, gives and gathers to help those most in need in our communities. St. Ambrose and the Cheverly United Methodist Church are lending their effort to the walk and it would be wonderful to see signs and smiling faces from every organization and family in town.
