This week at the Market: Shlagel Farm

Shlagel Farms has some of the most beautiful, scrumptious produce we've ever seen. Every Market, Eileen brings amazing things to us and it's always cause to remember just how good simple things can be. This week, we hit high summer produce: peaches, blackberries, blueberries, red potatoes, green beans, kale and collard greens, broccoli, cabbage, beets, turnips, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet corn, as well as brown eggs. This is the good stuff, folks, so stock up! Just looking at the list, I can think of at least a dozen meals that can be made from Shlagel offerings alone...just imagine what you can do when you combine them with some cheese, a little meat or fish, some bread...my creative juices are flowing, and I bet yours are, too!

Make sure to visit the Shlagel Farm tent this Saturday and get the best ingredients for your high summer meals!
